“The first thing that excites me about coming to Chelsea is seeing the last two years, four or five finals you guys have been in. The progress, you’ve won the UCL, to challenge for the Premier League is something that intrigued me.”

“To see the direction you guys are going, it’s something I’ve bought into. I think it’s a place where I can come into my own. It’s the perfect platform for me.”

“Every time I get back to London it’s a surreal feeling. When I first went up north I never really used to come down much. My family used to come up so I could focus on work.”
