Chelsea suffered a 4-0 defeat by rivals Arsenal in Orlando, leading to an inquest about their dismal display.

Arsenal produced a scintillating display in their 4-0 win against London rivals Chelsea in Orlando.

Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Albert Sambi Lokonga all scored for Mikel Arteta’s side in the one-sided Florida Cup final, with Aaron Ramsdale not making a save.

The 25-year-old forward joins us having established himself as one of the leading strikers in the Premier League in recent seasons. He scored 95 goals in 236 appearances in all competitions during his five seasons in Manchester.

Gabriel has won the Premier League title four times, the FA Cup, and the League Cup three times. He is a regular in the Brazil national team, making 56 appearances and scoring 19 times since making his full international debut for his country in September 2016. He was a member of the squad which won the Copa America in 2019. During his international career Gabriel has also notably won a gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and featured at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

This will be Chelsea’s final game in the United States pre-season tour and they will be hoping to end it on a bang.



Arsenal, who have also added some much-needed depth to their team, will be a much harder test for Tuchel’s team.

The Gunners have scored 15 goals in their four warm-up matches so far this summer, while the Blues have only played twice this month, following up a victory over Club America with a defeat on penalties to Charlotte FC.

Arsenal maintained their 100% record in pre-season when they claimed a 3-1 victory against MLS outfit Orlando City on Thursday.
