“best defence”; Watch Kalidou Koulibaly awesome best in football history defence to deny strikers goal chance against Everton

Chelsea new defender, Kalidou Koulibaly has been showing a great sign of commitment to the blues squad with his massive defensive display since arriving Stamford bridge

The Senegal international still required some guidance as he adjusts to being part of Chelsea’s back three but showed a great deal of ability in denying Anthony Gordon and taking the ball forward. Played a clever pass into Ben Chilwell for the England star to win a penalty. Had to be subbed in the second period as he looked to cramp up.

Tackled and passed well on a comfortable debut before coming off injured.

Kalidou Koulibaly’s Premier League debut by numbers:

71 touches
11 final third entries
7 duels won
4x possession won
3 clearances
3 aerial duels won
2 tackles
1 interception
1 last man tackle

A positive start. 💪
